The Seland extra-long 4/3mm neoprene socks are extended-length water socks designed to keep your feet warmer and better protected in cold, wet sections encountered underground or in canyons. The foot is built from durable 4 mm CR neoprene with a PU-reinforced sole for grip, while the leg and calf sections use 3 mm neoprene for flexible, comfortable coverage up the lower leg.

Their extra height helps reduce flushing and heat loss when moving through splash zones, river passages and deep pools — making them excellent for caving excursions involving water and technical canyoning approaches.

Questions & Answers

Question: How is the fit on these socks?

Answer: These fit true to their labelled UK size, and are generally forgiving.

Question: How thick should my wetsocks be for UK caves?

Answer: Trips in winter will be much more comfortable in 5mm. Thicker socks won't necessarily be less comfortable in warmer summer conditions though, so 4 or 5mm is a good thickness for year-round usage. You might want to think about thinner socks if you use canyoning boots for a better fit.

Products are shipped by UK courier from our Lancashire warehouse. Orders are dropped in the post each day 3pm Monday-Friday.

Delivery usually takes 2-3 working days. We mostly use Royal Mail Tracked 48 hour, bulkier orders may be sent by Yodel.

Oversuit the wrong size? Bag bigger than you expected?

Not a problem, we're well aware of the unknowns of ordering gear online without seeing it in person first, or being able to try it on - we like to think we make the process as easy as possible.
