Ordering & Delivery
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay with all major credit/debit cards.
How much is delivery?
Standard UK delivery is £3.69 for orders under £60, and free for orders of £60 or more.
How long will my item take to be delivered?
We aim to dispatch orders promptly, with orders normally posted each weekday. Standard UK delivery usually takes around 2-3 working days after dispatch, although bulkier orders may be sent using a different courier.
Do you offer next-day delivery?
We offer Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £4.99 when this option is available for your order. Orders placed before 3pm Monday-Friday will normally be dispatched the same day. While Tracked 24 is usually very quick, it is not a guaranteed next-day service.
Can I collect the item directly from you?
In some circumstances we may be able to offer in-person collection from the Lancaster area, sometimes within 24 hours of ordering, or arrange to meet in the Yorkshire Dales. If you'd like to see whether collection is possible, get in touch through our contact form or speak to us using live chat.
Returns & Sizing
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes. If you've changed your mind or need a different size, unused items can normally be returned in their original condition within the applicable returns period. What if my suit isn't the right size?
We recommend trying your suit on at home first, with your undersuit on as well if you're trying an oversuit. Check the overall fit, freedom of movement and comfort before using it underground. If anything isn't right, you can return it unused and switch to a different size. If you're unsure which size to change to, get in touch through our contact form or ask us on live chat.
Can you help me choose the right size?
Absolutely. Sizing caving suits, wetsuits and other technical clothing can sometimes be tricky, particularly if you're between sizes. Check the size information on the product page first, and if you're still unsure, send us your details through our contact form or ask us on live chat and we'll do our best to help.
What happens if an item is faulty?
If you think you've received a faulty item, please contact us through our contact form or speak to us on live chat. Tell us what's gone wrong and include your order details where possible. We'll help you work out the best next step, which may include troubleshooting, replacement, repair or return depending on the product and circumstances.
Choosing & Finding Equipment
I'm new to caving - what equipment do I need?
What you'll need depends on the type of caving you're planning to do. For a typical beginner trip you'll usually need suitable clothing, an oversuit, helmet, headlamp, wellies or suitable footwear and other personal equipment depending on the cave and group you're going with. Can you advise me which product is best for me?
Yes. We're happy to help if you're choosing between products or aren't sure what's most suitable for the type of caving, canyoning or outdoor activity you're doing. Tell us what you need through our contact form or speak to us on live chat and we'll point you in the right direction.
What happens if something I want is out of stock?
Where possible we'll show suitable alternative products when an item is unavailable. If you particularly want the out-of-stock item and would like to know whether we're expecting more, get in touch through our contact form or ask us on live chat.
Do you sell equipment for activities other than caving?
Yes. Although caving is at the heart of ActionStash, we also stock equipment suitable for activities including canyoning, mine exploration, watersports and other outdoor uses. Suitability varies by product, so always check the individual product information.
