Rodcle Cueto Caving Oversuit

The Cueto is Rodcle's flagship caving oversuit, and a particularly good choice if you're after something tough without sacrificing comfort and freedom of movement. The fabric is lightweight and flexible, but still highly abrasion-resistant, with extra reinforcement in the areas that tend to take the most punishment underground. It's breathable too, which is always welcome on longer or more strenuous trips.

One particularly nice feature is the adjustable internal belt. It lets you pull the waist in for a better fit, but also means you can take the top half of the suit off for warm walk-ins without having to carry the whole thing. There's also a hood tucked away inside the fleece-lined collar for when you need it.

One of our favourite comfort features is the slightly elasticated armpits, which give both flexibility for arm movement and a bit of breathability.

The spacious external pocket has a double-flap velcro closure to keep the contents more secure, and it's made of the same tougher fabric as the reinforcement areas so it won't wear through after a few flat-outs. The large internal pocket also has a velcro closure with an easy-pull tab for cold muddy hands.

The Cueto uses Rodcle's X-.TREM polyamide fabric, chosen for its combination of toughness and flexibility. The seams are triple-stitched, and the elbows, knees and seat are reinforced to help the suit stand up to the usual crawling, squeezing and scraping.

Fit-wise, these are quite forgiving and should fit a wide range of body types, although you can be reassured that our standard resizing policy has you covered - just try on with your undersuit at home when you receive it, and if you need a different size or just to return it that's no problem by us.
