Left-hand handled ascender, ergonomic grip, 8.3–13mm ropes, CE/UIAA certified, 247g.
The Grivel A1 is a straightforward, well-made handled rope ascender, suitable for use as part of an appropriate SRT setup.
The ergonomic handle is generously sized, making it easy to grip even when wearing gloves. There's a large lower attachment hole for connecting to your ascending system, while a small ring on the cam makes it easier to manipulate when required.
The A1 is made from aluminium and weighs 247g, making it a fairly lightweight option without sacrificing a comfortable, substantial handle.
Available in left-handed and right-handed versions, depending on your preferred setup.
