Answer: Of course, we only sell cave-suitable lighting! As a minimum they will survive drops and temporary immersion in water, some will also handle extended immersion at depth. IP66 should be the minimum to consider for caving, IP68 will see you through any normal caving abuse.

Answer: This lamp doesn't have a charging circuit, so you'll need to swap out the batteries, or charge them outside the unit if using rechargeable AAs

Answer: This is most suited to a lightweight backup light for 'proper' cavers. It would be suitable as a main beam for shorter trips or novices though.

Answer: Yes, a battery is included with the product.

Answer: One AA battery. Any chemistry will work (alkaline, rechargeable etc.).
