Caving Headlamp & Battery

Our affordable caving headlamp. Featuring 5 variable brightness levels for maximising your battery life, and a turbo mode which will light large chambers as brightly as (or brighter than!) the top brands and paired with the included top of the range KeepPower battery, these caving headlights pack a real punch for the price.

We used to use these as a low cost backup lamp, but now use them as our main lamp too due to the bright and and even beam (and Turbo mode makes for great photography). They're just as rugged as the established brands for a regular battering in a cave environment.

A built-in USB-C port (protected by a screw-up cover to keep dirt and dampness out) allows you to charge the light without removing the battery (charging cable included). Battery life is around 12-14 hours in medium brightness mode, and 70+ hours on the lowest brightness (which is still bright enough to cave by). And no, those aren't manufacturer-exaggerated figures, that's from our own tests - most times 75 hours was reached. The high-quality KeepPower 18650 battery included has a large capacity of 3500 mAh, and can easily be replaced.

It's not ideal for extended submersion underwater or multi-day expedition use (and you should always carry a spare battery, and indeed a backup light, as per standard caving recommendations!), but if you're regularly doing those sort of trips you'll undoubtedly already have a top-end lamp anyway!

Button commands:

- Press quickly to switch on to full brightness
- Hold for one second to cycle through progressively dimmer light levels
- Double-press the button to activate maximum-brightness turbo mode. This will automatically switch off after 30 seconds
- Additional double presses will cycle through other modes - Strobe, SOS, Beacon
- Press quickly again to switch the light off at any time
